Call for Papers: EU Relations with Eastern Partnership: Strategy, Opportunities and Challenges

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Jean Monnet project team I would like to invite you to the International Conference «EU Relations with Eastern Partnership: Strategy, Opportunities and Challenges». The conference is organised with the support of Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and will take place in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, on April 20-21, 2016.

The conference aims to gather professionals in order to discuss and reflect not only about the different aspects of the joint initiative strategy that is founded on mutual interests and commitments, shared ownership and mutual accountability, but also other related aspects including opportunities, challenges, and risk eventualities that Eastern Europe faces. Diplomatic, political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the European Union and the Eastern Partnership countries is influenced by geopolitical games in the region. The conference resides in a broad scope and specific topics of interest, but it is not limited to them.

Authors are invited to submit original and innovative papers to the conference. We seek high-quality submissions that promote the knowledge and understanding of EU relations in the Eastern Partnership with an emphasis on practical perspectives. We encourage papers that break new grounds, present insightful results based on new and / or alternative visions.

We look forward to receiving proposals in response to the call, and are happy to respond to inquiries from interested parties. For any inquiries, please contact secretariat@studiieu.org (cc vasile.cucerescu@ymail.com).

See you at EUREPSOC 2016.

Sincerely,

Vasile Cucerescu
